Designed for professional flat roofing applications, the STRUCTASEAL EPDM Water Based Bonding Adhesive is a high-performance water-based adhesive developed for bonding EPDM rubber roofing membranes to absorbent horizontal roof substrates. Its low-odour formulation provides excellent adhesion and is easy to apply, making it an ideal choice for both professional roofers and DIY installers.
This adhesive is specifically designed for use on absorbent substrates including timber roof decks, OSB and plywood within the central area of flat roofs. It provides a strong and reliable bond as part of the complete STRUCTASEAL EPDM roofing system and is particularly suitable for carports, garden rooms, sheds and other low-level flat roofing projects.
A 5 litre container typically covers approximately 15–25 m², depending on the substrate, surface condition and application method. The adhesive is recommended for roof heights up to 3 metres. For roofs above 3 metres, STRUCTASEAL EPDM PU Bonding Adhesive should be used. Roof perimeters, edge zones, parapet walls and upstands should be bonded using EPDM Contact Bonding Adhesive or EPDM Spraybond Contact Adhesive.
