Designed for professional flat roofing applications, the STRUCTASEAL EPDM PU Bonding Adhesive is a high-performance solvent-based polyurethane adhesive developed for bonding EPDM rubber roofing membranes to flat horizontal roof surfaces. It is specifically designed for use on timber roof decks and suitable insulation boards, providing a durable and reliable bond as part of the complete STRUCTASEAL EPDM roofing system.
This adhesive is intended for use on the central area of flat roofs and gutter constructions where a strong, long-lasting bond is required. Before laying the EPDM membrane, the adhesive should be allowed to flash off to help prevent trapped air and achieve optimum adhesion.
A 2 kg container typically covers approximately 6.5–8.0 m², depending on the substrate, surface condition and application method, making it easy to estimate the quantity required for your project. For roof perimeters, edge zones, parapet walls and upstands, use EPDM Contact Bonding Adhesive or EPDM Spray Contact Adhesive, as this adhesive is intended for horizontal roof areas only.
